Droid X Update Brings Fixed Gingerbread

Droid X Update Brings Fixed Gingerbread
At the end of last May, Verizon has issued Gingerbread update for Droid X. Unfortunately that first Gingerbread update brings many problems and complained by users such as the screen becomes black, the phone can not be rebooted, and the phone can not boot up at a later time.

Now, the last Droid X update brings fixed Gingerbread and made the phone’s software to version 4.5.602.MB810.Verizon.en.US with 11MB size. Through Droid X update this time, all the problems encountered by users on the first update will be overcome. Actually we do not know what new things are brought in this update moreover there is no change log issued. But hopefully update this time can answer all Droid X users’ complaints who find problems in the first update.

The Droid X update will be sent by Over the Air (OTA), but if you do not receive a notification you can do it manually by going to Menu > Settings > About Phone > System update. Good luck...
